Hotel, right in the centre of Rome, next to the Colloseum. From a touristic point of view, you could hardly ask for a better location. Rooms ok, breakfast simple but sufficient. Friendly staff.

The hotel is located right above a bar, which is open pretty much every day of the week, playing loud music until 2 a.m. Didn't bother us that much, but take it into account if you're a light and early sleeper.

Location was nice, well sound proof windows, spacey room.

Poor breakfast, broken technical equipment in the room, most of it fixed during my stay upon request.

It is the best location to reach historical places in Rome, starting with Coliseum (just a few steps)! Hotel is small enough, but cosy, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

I found the hotel to be a great central point and in a lovely location the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful rooms were small not suitable for families but were immaculate overall a great hotel would recommend it

i found that it wasnt wheelchair accessable or for families due to size of rooms and no lifts

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great for our sightseeing needs and restaurants.

Breakfast room basic and cramped - and only one cup of coffee! Real downside was the banging noise every night til 2 am from the bar below - making it difficult to get a good nights sleep and only because of this could not recommend it .

Travelled with my mother and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly (the most friendly ones during our entire Italy trip). They were warm and went out of their way to meet our pre-specified requirements of a view of the Colosseum. From our hotel window, the ancient Roman ruins were direct facing with the Colosseum on the left - it was wonderful..The street was absolutely safe (no dodgy characters) with a whole line of restaurants and cafes, pharmacy and a bank..Restaurant staff were also warm and added that extra touch to Roma's trip..Will absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing for a taste of good ol' Italian hospitaly with nearness to ancient history :)

Dissapointing in compare to others in Italy

Out of hours staff were great , but the day staff could have been more friendly .

Absolutely great location so close to the Colloseum and the staff is amazing. Very friendly and helpful!

The hotel is located over bars and it can get a little loud at night. It didn't make us lose any sleep though.

The hotel is very close to the Colisseum and the room is very nice and clean

    No WIFI, no elevator

The location was amazing, just a stones throw from the Collesuem...and interesting perched above it's colourful, very noisy neighbours. The room was comfortable and I was pleasantly surprised that the street noise totally disappeared when I closed the windows for sleeping. We were delighted by the professionalism and assistance of the staff who went above and beyond... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Imperial Rooms.

excellent location for main attractions and metro

The staff was very helpful. They provided maps of the area, kept our luggage until check-in time and put it away in our room for us. They also kept our luggage stored on the day we left since we were leaving at night. The breakfast was amazing! Probably the best I've had in Europe. Croissants, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, and one of the staff members was on hand to make cappuccino. We could see the remains of King Nero's palace across the street and the Colosseum was literally right in front of us if we walked onto our balcony. The train station was less than 5 minutes away. The Colosseum was across the street. The rooms looked like they were decorated with antique furniture and they were spotless. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

There are a couple of gay bars in front of the hotel, so if you have a problem with alternative lifestyles this is not the place for you. We travelled with our children and had no issues with this at all. In fact, most of the guests were families. We felt very welcome at this hotel.

    Easy location

Not really a 4-star place; not really a hotel - more apartment rooms in a block; no real hotel facilities as such. The breakfast was not great - but Italian hotel breakfasts often aren't (it's all white bread and cakes -- and cool cappuccino, unless you really specify "hot hot hot").

  • Group of friends

At the second floor there was a gay-lesbian assosiation and it was uncomfortable for families

  • Older travelers
    6.6

It was very close to the Colosseum and the metro.

It was difficult to sleep because it was next to a noisy street. The windows were not great at keeping the sound out.
